MISSION STATEMENT

Artsi's mission is to expose local artists to local people by transforming spaces for diverse audiences to experience art in unique ways at an affordable cost.

Where it all started

Artsi came about with the desire of presenting art in accessible spaces to connect new audiences to experience something different. Art has a wonderful way of seeing the world through a different lens, to explore ideas, to challenge notions, and to better understand our part in it all. Art has the ability to move, inspire, provoke, and empower and we hope to create spaces for this to happen. It's our desire to expose local artists to local people who typically would not be found in the artistic scene.

With much excitement & enthusiasm,

Keila & Pradhan

Pradhan Sharma

Pradhan Sharma graduated from Rutgers University in 2015 with an M.S. in Biology and is a recent graduate of the University of the Sciences graduating with a M.S. in Physician Assistant Studies. Although medicine has always been a passion for Pradhan, art has always had a close following. The love for art started when Pradhan began his relationship with a modern/contemporary dancer, Keila, in 2009. With exposure to numerous works of dance, theater, spoken word, musicians, and visual artists throughout the years, the ambition and appreciation grew. Pradhan believes that art has the ability to challenge thought and discussion through works that are provoking, controversial, and beautiful is one of the most important human attributes. He believes the reason why art has such power in society is its effect in inciting emotion from a person that can fundamentally change their attitude on any given situation in life. These are important qualities that drive Pradhan to help provide these artistic experiences to those old and new to art through Artsi. Pradhan is the proud co-founder of Artsi.
